Dr. Strangelove

Released January 29, 1964, Dr. Stranglove graced the world with its presents. Surprisingly nominiated for a couple Oscars, Dr. Stranglove recieved one for best picture? For real? It's definitely a drifferent movie but best pisture?! Oh well...anyways this film was directed by Stanley Kubrick and written by Peter George. It was made during the Cold war, which was a battle between USSR and America.

The best actor, Peter Sellers played a man who went mad that is to concerned with people's "bodily functions," Jack Ripper, a general. He orders his fighters to bomb Russia because they were going to bomb the U.S. The President calls a meeting with the Soviet ambassador. They find out that Russia was hit with the "Doomsday Machine," which can destroy the world. Jack Ripper, the insane man is the only one who knows the code to stop the attack. Does he stop it?! Watch and find out.
